Montreal has seen a dramatic shift in the business of escorting the famous Baton Rouge, a legendary Montreal-based escort agency.
After a decade in business, the Baton-Rouge has been forced to close, with the owners now saying they need to look for a new venue.
According to the Montreal Gazette, Baton Rouge is closing its doors as a result of the new ownership, which is also taking over the company’s Montreal-area offices.
The news was first reported by The Gazette.
The Baton and Rouge were one of the most famous and well-known escorts in the city, with over 1,000 escorts across the city.
In a statement, Batons owner and founder Alain Gourdon said, “I have a long history of working with the Batons and my heart goes out to those who have worked for them.
I am very sad to announce that I have to close my doors.
I hope that my customers will feel the same way.”
Gouron added that he would remain involved with Batons operations, but that it would be “difficult” to remain in the same location.
Gourdons company, Batonaire Escort, is located in the St-Louis neighbourhood, where it has operated since 2004.
It has an extensive network of clients and has also had several successful campaigns in other Canadian cities including Toronto, Vancouver and Edmonton.
The company has also been involved in some of the world’s biggest escorts, including Dubai, Bangkok, Dubai and Rome.
It was also recently recognized as one of Canada’s top escorts by the Canadian Media Association.
The closure of Baton Souleau follows similar moves by other escort agencies.
Earlier this month, a Montreal woman was charged with the manslaughter of a teenage girl in the wake of a horrific video of her being sexually assaulted in a Baton escort service.
The video, posted on YouTube, shows the girl being assaulted and having her hair forcibly pulled in a Montreal brothel.
The woman, who cannot be identified due to her age, pleaded guilty to sexual assault and faces up to 10 years in prison.
In the video, the girl is then allegedly told by the brothel’s owner that she “deserves it.”
In a separate incident, a woman in Toronto was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl while a brothel owner was in the country.
The charges are still pending.
The Escort Protection Society (EPSS) said in a statement that the Batoon Rouge was one of many of the largest and most popular escorts that operated in Montreal.
The organization’s executive director, Kristin Haines, said that the closing of Batons was the end of a “truly remarkable chapter in the history of the Batones.”
Hains added that the club was the centre of the “best and brightest of the best” and that it was “a shining symbol of the values that Montreal values in women.”
“In the last 10 years, we have seen the decline of the Escorts in Montreal, and it is sad to see the end that is coming,” she said.
“It is a sad day for all of us that have worked so hard to help women.”
Hains added that she hoped that Batons closure would allow people to continue to experience the Batone’s “fantastic and legendary” reputation.
