San Francisco escorts are in a bind when it comes to how they can get their clients to go to the emergency room.
They’re constantly looking for ways to improve the safety of their customers, so they’re looking for solutions to a problem they have yet to solve.
Escorts can’t always rely on a patient’s medical history or history of trauma, but they’re hoping to learn as much as possible from patients who are already in the hospital.
“I’ve been doing this for a long time, and it’s just the most frustrating part of my job, because the patients are dying in front of me,” said Jennifer Beale, a San Francisco-based escorts escort who specializes in the city.
“There’s no guarantee that they will make it to the hospital, because most of the patients we serve are patients who aren’t in need of the services that we provide.”
Escorts have an advantage in the ER, though.
“When you’re in the emergency department, you have no choice but to trust that people are going to make it there, that’s a big part of it,” Beale said.
“The other part is, when you get your client in, they’re just going to have to go through the motions of calling their doctor and seeing if there’s a doctor nearby that can take them to the next one.
That’s just not going to happen.”
Beale and other escorts like her are trying to find a way to use the ER as a learning tool.
“We can’t do our job if we don’t learn,” Beales said.
Escort experts say that for many patients, it can be the only option to get to the doctor.
But for some, it’s a life-and-death situation.
“You don’t know what you’re going to get,” Beasley said.
Beale has had clients die on the way to her appointments, so she knows how devastating it can feel to have a loved one go through something like that.
“In my experience, it doesn’t seem to get better with time,” she said.
That might be why many escorts will try to take advantage of the ER system by offering to drive the patients home.
“If I can help someone who is in the intensive care unit and I can get them out of there in one piece, I might take advantage,” Bealsaid.
“But if I can’t help that person get out of the hospital in time, then I’m going to stop.”
But that’s not always the case.
“It’s frustrating,” Beas said.
If your client is in a car accident or has another health problem, there’s little you can do to help them.
“Your options are limited.
You can’t drive them home.
And if they need to go somewhere else, you’re probably not going get them,” Beal said.
While there’s no shortage of places to go if you need to take someone home, Beale’s advice for patients is to stay at home until they’re ready to go.
“What I’ve learned is that you should take care of yourself,” she advised.
“Don’t go out in the public and try to go out and do whatever you can to get yourself to get checked out.”
Beals experience working in the medical field and says she’s seen a lot of people who are really scared of the public.
“One patient came to me and said, ‘You know, I’ve never been in the ED before, and I’m really afraid to come in,'” Beales recalled.
“She told me that she had a really bad accident, and she didn’t have a car, and if she was going to the ED, she should go.
I told her that I wouldn’t, and that I was going with her to see what they’re doing.”
Beasley says that the fact that her patients have a high degree of risk and the fact they’re at the hospital means they need help to stay safe.
“Even if it means putting them in a medically risky situation, the most important thing is that they get treated right, so I don’t have to make the decision to not go,” Beall said.
Some escorts say that if a patient is really, really sick, it could be a good idea to get them to an emergency room right away.
“Sometimes it’s easier to wait to have them come to the OR because it’s not really a situation that you’re worried about,” Beare said.
In that case, you might try to get the patient to a local hospital.
It might be a better idea to wait a couple of hours, until they get better, to make sure they’re okay.
“That’s the thing with the hospital: You don’t want to put someone at risk if you don’t really know what’s going on,” Bealy said.
And the fact is, there are so many things that could go wrong, including having a heart attack
