An escort agency is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a man who allegedly broke into a New Jersey bar and sexually assaulted women in exchange for sex.
The New Jersey State Police is offering the reward after a man was arrested Friday at the Hotel Indigo in East Rutherford, police said in a statement.
Police identified the man as John A. Condon, 33, of the 200 block of South State Street in East Brunswick.
The investigation into the assault, which took place at about 2:30 p.m., remains active, police added.
Condon was arrested on a burglary charge and charged with two counts of first-degree burglary and two counts each of second-degree criminal sexual act, third-degree sexual act and fourth-degree possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police said the alleged victim was a woman who was waiting for a man in the bar to pick up her car.
She told police that Condon entered the bar, stripped down to his underwear and began sexually assaulting her.
The victim managed to escape and call police, police wrote in the statement.
Cordon is being held on $25,000 bail.
The bar has been placed on lockdown and the owner of the hotel is under an investigation, according to police.
